These tanks are very durable, made out of approximately 1/2″ fiberglass. These tanks are used, but in excellent condition.

We have a large quantity of a meteorological balloons that were purchased in a government surplus bid. These balloons were U.S. Military issue and inflate to 12′ High and 36′ Circumference. The sale invitation for bid by the U.S. Government was as follows:

Balloon, Meteorological: Kaysam Corp. of America P/N ML 541/A, spherical shape, neck length 4.5″., neck diam. 1.000 in., bursting altitude 75,000 feet, lifting force 2700 grams, material – rubber, neoprene latex, used to carry meteorological equipment for obtaining upper air measurements during daytime hours, NSN 6660-00-809-5115

Packaged individually in a cardboard box measuring 10 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ x 6″.
